About Us
The Monterey Bay Area Cactus and Succulent Society (MBACSS) is a non-profit educational organization contributing to the study and cultivation of succulents, cacti and other drought tolerant plants.
Meetings are held on the third Sunday of each month with the exception of the Spring and Fall Show and Sales months (announced on the homepage of this website, MBACSS Facebook page and elsewhere). Meetings are held at Corralitos Grange Hall #487, 165 Little Corral Way, Watsonville, CA 95076
The general monthly meetings feature informative lectures and displays of plants and plant raffles. If you are new to the club meetings you receive a complimentary plant!
In the Spring and Fall, MBACSS holds its Annual Show and Sale highlighting plant displays of amazing succulents, cacti, bulbs, caudiciforms and more.
The spacious sales area offers a huge multitude of unique, unusual, exotic and hard-to-find succulents, cacti, bromeliads, and unique handmade pottery available for the collector and the enthusiast.
Our society arranges field trips to local botanical gardens and nurseries for our members as well.
If you enjoy sharing your love of cacti and succulents and learning new tips on growing, propagating, etc., then you definitely should become a member of our society!
We welcome you to join our next meeting!
